Between the two of us, we have spent decades building marketing with some of the most recognized brands in the world. Disney. Coca-Cola. Forbes Books. Saatchi & Saatchi. We know what good strategy looks like. We know how to build it. And we know exactly who has access to it.
That last part is what drove us to start Curated Studios.
The best marketing strategy, the kind that actually works, has always been available to companies with big budgets and full teams. The small business owner, the side hustler, the founder who is doing it mostly alone: they get generic advice and Canva tutorials. Not a real foundation. Not the same thinking that runs the brands they admire.
We thought that was worth fixing.
Curated Studios exists to make real marketing strategy accessible to anyone who is serious about building something. Whether someone works with us directly, goes through the Curated Cohort, or builds it on their own with our tools and curriculum, the strategy they get is the same one we would build for anyone.
We are two founders, two single moms, who built this business on the same principles we teach. And we have a particular passion for women who are doing the same: building something real, on their own terms, for their families and for themselves. That is who we keep building for.

Karissa is a strategic media and marketing executive with over 15 years of experience driving growth for startups and established companies. She has launched and scaled four businesses, produced podcasts and documentaries, published a book, and partnered with Forbes and C-suite executives across industries to build brand strategy that performs.
Her real expertise is in seeing the architecture of a brand before it exists, and then building the foundation that makes it hold. That instinct shapes the Curated Cohort curriculum and every client engagement we run.

Abigail is a brand strategist and creative director who spent over a decade on global brands including The Walt Disney Company, Wendy's, Coca-Cola Consolidated, and Saatchi & Saatchi before co-founding Curated Studios. She specializes in visual identity, brand positioning, and creative systems that make a brand hold up at every stage of growth.
What makes Abigail different from most brand designers is that she thinks in systems. A logo is the beginning of a brand language that has to hold up on every platform, in every context, as the business grows. That thinking is what she brings to every project.
We do not hand work off. When you work with Curated Studios, you work with us and the team we have built around this methodology. Every strategy, every brand decision, every piece of content connects back to the same foundation we have spent years developing.
Along the way, we kept meeting women in the same position: talented, driven, and doing it largely alone. The side hustler who has been telling herself she will make it official for two years. The mom who turned a skill into a service and is not sure what to call herself yet. The founder who has clients and real traction but a brand that still looks like a side project.

That is why we are building a community specifically for women who are in the thick of it: launching, growing, or figuring out the next step. A place where the strategy is real, the support is genuine, and the goal is simple: help each other build something that lasts.
One thing we are working toward: a grant seat in the Curated Cohort for a single mom who is in the early stages of building her business. Because the women who need this most are often the ones least able to invest in it.
We want to change that, one seat at a time.
